Deirdre Seling joined SMART Policy Group with a blend of skills in communication, design, and policy. Her experience includes social media management across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Restream, where she focuses on creating meaningful and engaging content. She also has experience with graphic design for professional materials, including press releases, reports, and other professional communications tools, as well as utilizing marketing campaign platforms to support client goals. Deirdre has knowledge in advocacy related to sustainability, bioenergy, and circular economy, bringing creativity and a thoughtful approach to these important topics.

Deirdre graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022 with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. During her time at VCU, she explored civil rights and justice through her coursework and was an active member of the university community. She participated in the Pre-Law Society of VCU, was part of the Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization, and served as both the Diversity and Inclusion Chair and Social Networking Chair for the Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.
