A familiar and well-respected presence among Senators, Representatives, and their staffs, Pete Leon draws upon his 20 years as lobbyist and 10 years as a staffer on Capitol Hill to advocate the views and represent the interests of both small and large clients in Washington DC. Mr. Leon also provides strategic political and policy advice to those clients as they seek to advance their legislative agendas.
Mr. Leon founded his own firm, Leon Consultants, as well as working as a Partner at Scrivner Leon Group. He also worked at Levick Strategic Communications; Dow Lohnes Government Strategies; Lent, Scrivner and Roth and Comptel (now Incompass). In the House of Representatives, he served as Legislative Director for Rep. Eliot Engel (NY), who was a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, Legislative Director/Appropriations Associate for Rep. Mike Forbes (NY), Rep. Joe Kennedy II (MA), and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (CA).
Mr. Leon’s policy experience focuses on energy, environment, health, tax, technology, and telecommunications.
